Shipping Policies

MMCC Bookstore provides the option to have your textbooks shipped to you for $14.50. All of our shipments are packed to ensure the safety of you items in route.

Your order is typically processed within 24 hours of placing your order online. On average, your order will be received in 7-10 working days. During August and December, delivery time may take longer.

All orders are subject to address verification when using a different ship to address than the address that we have on file for you. Please note that you may receive a telephone call from MMCC's Bookstore if using a different address. Orders will not ship until addresses are verified. Student ID is required.

Your receipt is required for ALL returns.
Shrink wrapped textbooks may not be returnable if opened due to publisher return policies. A $10.00 fee applies if the book is eligible to be returned but has been opened. Shrink wrapped books with CD’s, software and access codes that have been opened are not returnable. Access codes, calculators, flash drives, recorders, and electronics are not returnable if opened. Software is not returnable. Shipping charges are not refundable.
Textbooks may be returned without a restock fee during MMCC’s open drop/add period for classes. This drop/add period is normally the first week of classes (drop/add period for each term is posted). After the drop/add period and until the end of the return period, books without a drop/add slip will be charged a 15% restock fee.

Rental Information

MMCC Bookstore’s Neebo rental program is powered by software from Nebraska Book Company. Nebraska Book Company also administers the program for MMCC Bookstores. As a result, any chages made to the student’s credit card for non-return of textbooks will be applied by Neebo Rental.

When the rental period return period ends at MMCC Bookstores and a book was not returned, please inquire directly to Nebraska Book Company at: NEEBOMANAGEDRENTALS@INCONTACTEMAIL.COM or at 855-558-2759.

Book Buyback Information


Book buy back is for on campus students and for online students. Online students who wish to return either RENTAL books or books for buy back must have them delivered to us by the last Friday of the semester. Please mail books to: MMCC Bookstore, 1375 South Clare Avenue, Harrison, MI 48625. Please call 989-386-6640 for information BEFORE you mail them to us.

Michigan Works Students

Students who have sponsorships that allow bookstore charges (i.e. MI Works or MI Rehab), are NOW REQUIRED to show their billing Authorization at the bookstore when making their bookstore purchases. If students would like to purchase additional items and charge against other financial aid they must do so in a separate transaction. Students can get copies of their billing authorizations from their case worker or from the Cashier's Office prior to coming to the bookstore.
